- To work, plan and operate for all purposes of the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.
- To work, plan and operate for all purposes of the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
- To obtain information on all activities in the field of Khadi and Village Industries run by the Government such as spinning, weaving and other housing industries and self-employment activities.
- To make efforts to reach out to economically backward and weaker sections of society and organize programs, demonstrations and training for them.
- For women’s self-reliance and upliftment by providing proper educational guidance, self-employment training, sewing skills, housing industry training and other supportive activities.
- To organize programs related to child labor, atrocities on women, prevention of untouchability, sexual exploitation, literacy campaigns and de-addiction campaigns in villages and backward areas.
- To obtain information about various government village development schemes, actively participate in them and manage such schemes for full village development.
- To carry out rural development efforts related to water, land, animal husbandry, forest development, moisture conservation, water storage, irrigation, afforestation, cowsheds, fallow land development and tree plantation with public participation, and to provide drinking water facilities.
- To conduct welfare activities for overall social development, organize seminars, work conferences, expert meetings, oratory competitions, writing, drawing and sports competitions, and promote such activities.
- To carry out environmental protection programs, collect and analyze pollution-related data, promote tree plantation and forest conservation, create public awareness and implement remedies.
- To provide knowledge, information and training on various farming methods to farmers in villages and backward areas, provide technology awareness, and make quality seeds, seedlings, fertilizers (biological, chemical and natural), organic medicines, hybrids and indigenous seeds easily available, and to plan, execute and manage these activities.

- To make arrangements for providing firewood and other necessary items for crematorium services.
- To establish and maintain a charity kitchen for needy employees, workers and laborers, and to run Sadavrat Seva Kendra for the poor. Also, to ensure the availability of clean drinking water for communities.
- To establish and maintain cowsheds to support the charity kitchen’s requirements and provide pure foodstuffs to workers, laborers and poor people in villages.
